Grace Obika a singer/songwriter from North London, born in the UK but of Nigerian comes  from a strong musical background in her family, with one of her relatives breaking into the music industry Leaving his mark on the UK R&B market, Lemar Obika (Multi-Award winning British Soul/R&B Artist).

Grace’s music grabbed the attention of DJ/Producer Karl ‘Tuff Enough’ Brown (who has worked with  Rosie  Gaines, Tina Moore, Ce Ce Peniston, En Vogue, Brand New Heavies, Mark Morrison, Usher and Coolio, as well as entering the charts with his own productions, such as TJR Feat. Xavier "Just Gets Better" and TUFFJAM Feat. Jaquee Bennett "Need Good Love"), where Grace was approached with a song writing contract to write for an established group in Los Angeles called ‘Livin Out Loud’, alongside one of her own tracks titled “So Right” to be made into a house and garage track by the man himself. Karl Brown was so impressed by Grace work that he opted to work with herright away.

Amongst the many gigs and charity events that Grace has made her mark of performances of her original material,  specific highlights dated back to 2008 where Grace was invited to perform in Hollywood, Los Angeles for the film Premier of ‘Amazing Grace’, and was also invited to perform in Atlanta as a supporting act for Akons’ new artist and songwriter, Riz from the US. She has also supported Marques Houston in  London during his tour in the UK, in that same December 2008 - Grace was selected by MTV, as one of the 14 finalists out of 500 + artists, to perform/appear on 'Hugo Urban Rules' show, which was aired on  MTV UK, TMF and MTV Base from January 11th-February 27th 2008. In effect, Grace’s material mirrors  a sound of a ‘FUSION’ of various elements of genres (mix of Pop, Rock, Soul, Afro, R'N'B & Reggae) with commercial appeal. Her sound will hold your interest, to see what else she can “pull out the bag”.

This right here is a Milounge and GSi exclusive, if you are yet to hear about Milounge's star act 'AKAYBEE', I've brought you exclusive details on this talented artist and also linkS to his two new tracks, Let Go and Jeka Celebrate

Akogwu Barack Obekpa popularly known as AKAYBEE (AKB) or ‘certified fresh’ was born in the middle belt of Nigeria, Benue state on the 27th of July 1989. He got inspired to become a singer  in secondary school when he joined the Mount Saint Gabriel’s Secondary Schools’ choir in Makurdi, His strong passion for music grew after he met the famous Nigerian Music Icon 2face Idibia in his home town, Otupko .

Akaybee has ventured into the “Trey-Chris- Ne-yoic” genre of music which is RnB, and has added a little of the Nigerian flavour
His inspiration and love for music could be credited to his mentor 2face Idibia and also the environment he resides him which drives him to work harder and push further.

Akaybee enjoys playing basketball, hanging out, swimming and also producing in his spare time. Akaybee is a talented individual; he not only does vocals, but also plays the keyboards, piano and the drums as well.  Even more amazingly, he is self taught a true born talent. His first single, "Ur Soulja" was placed as fourth on Cool fm Abuja chat. Akaybee has done countless number of songs and collaborations with the likes of Jesse Jagz, Double Dee, T klex, Jay AuGg, Tycoon and loads of others.

Akaybee has rounded up his first degree in the American University of Nigeria Yola, Adamawa state. He plans on pushing his music career to the next level. His idea of creating a mark in the Nigerian music industry is by creating distinctive songs with great melody.
